Brow Lift Miami
Wrinkles and fine lines affect self-confidence, especially those on your forehead or brow area. The droopy eyebrows and the frown lines make you look rude and unfriendly. Since the brow area and eyelids are closely related, they both get affected as the skin tissues begin to droop downwards.
The surgical and non-surgical procedures are available to turn back the clock. Brow Lift with Botox or Dysport is less invasive than a surgical procedure. It is quick, safe, and a secret weapon for boosting your look and now has become a favorite treatment among men and women. Read on to know everything about Brow Lift with Botox or Dysport.
What is a Brow Lift?
Aging and gravity cause your eyebrows to drop. It is more noticeable around the outer edge. A continuing drop in brow area comes with a natural decrease in brow arch. This condition is particularly bothersome for some men and women as the natural arch dramatically enhances the appearance.
In the earlier period, a brow lift was performed through a surgical procedure known as a forehead lift. It aimed to lift the forehead and brow area by tightening the tissues in the treatment area.
As a result, it helped to restore the youthful appearance of the forehead, upper eyelids, and brows. More recently, neurotoxins have become famous for treating wrinkles and fine lines. They are a less invasive option than a surgical procedure. Botox and Dysport are widespread neurotoxins that are safe, effective, and with minimal side effects. They work to lift the brow area by relaxing the muscles that are responsible for droopy appearance. In addition, they help to achieve the desired arch that makes you look attractive.

What is Botox?
Most people understand Botox as used to treat fine lines and wrinkles but may not fully understand how it works. It is formulated of relaxing muscle proteins called neuromodulators, which are common cosmetic tools used for enhancement and rejuvenation.
Botox is recognized as the first brand of neuromodulator in the market. Dysport recently joined the team. The Botox brow lift provides similar results to a surgical procedure. Different brow techniques can enhance the Brow’s appearance.
However, it mainly depends on individual needs, anatomy, and brow shape. An injectable expert can provide a customized treatment that can lift or lower the brows’ inner portion, arch, or outer portion. In addition, Botox Brow Lift can help treat the fine lines between the brow area and elevate the brows’ height. It relaxes the underlying muscles, which results in skin smoothening. Then forehead muscles pull up the relaxed muscles and open the eyes by elevating the brow area. The physician may provide additional injections of Botox at the end of the brow area to allow the forehead muscles to pull the area. The final results of Botox Brow Lift depend on the tone of muscles and the patient’s age.
What is Dysport?
Botox is more notorious for facial rejuvenation, but its alternatives are available. One of the best replacements is Dysport. It is a neurotoxin that is formulated to limit muscle movements in the treatment area. The limited muscle movement helps to fade fine lines and wrinkles.
There is no major distinction between the two, but Dysport is more beneficial in treating moderate to severe wrinkles. Botox and Dysport are dosed differently. For example, 50 units of Botox are not equal to 50 units of Dysport. Secondly, they are diluted differently. Dysport is more diluted than Botox.
However, the significant dilution does not mean less effectiveness. It only means a higher quantity of Dysport may be used to achieve the same results with less Botox. The molecular size of the Dysport formula is smaller as compared to Botox. In some areas, it is beneficial, while for others, it is not. So, it is crucial to consider an experienced practitioner for the proper dosing and placement of neurotoxins. Dysport diffuses faster than Botox, meaning a larger treatment area can be treated with fewer injections.
Both Botox and Dysport are excellent for lifting the brows. However, the results of both neuromodulators last for 3-4 months, and you will need follow-up injections to maintain the results.
Questions? We've Got Answers
11s are the muscles that cause recognizable lines between the brows. These muscles are technically known as corrugator muscles or corrugator supercilia. It starts from the mid-brow, extends along the eye socket, and reaches the inner corner of the eyes. This small muscle is responsible for many cosmetological issues like frown lines. The orbicularis oculi is the muscle that encircles the entire eye area and covers the rest of the brow area. It is responsible for eyelids closing and causes crow’s feet wrinkles.
Botox and Dysport both relax the muscles that allow the arch and outer corner of your brows to naturally raise and open up the appearance of the entire eye area. The physician injects the neurotoxin specifically into the muscles that cause the drop without touching the frontalis muscles in the forehead. If the frontalis muscle gets injected, it opposes the effects of relaxing the corrugator and orbicularis oculi muscle resulting in a frozen look instead of lifting the brows.
The procedure of Botox is simple and effective. It removes the forehead lines, sagging eyebrows, and appearance of upper eyelid hooding. The physician injects a small amount of Botox or Dysport in the lateral section of the Brow to lift it up. He skillfully injects the neurotoxin into key areas of the glabella and forehead areas to provide you with a youthful appearance.
The brow lift is much preferred over the surgical procedure because it provides a more subtle and natural look. There are many different ways to inject Botox or Dysport in the brow area. It depends on the patient’s anatomy. The injectable expert marks the key areas before initiating the treatment.
Patients will likely see the full results after fourteen days of the treatment that lasts for three to five months. Ongoing treatments and regular upkeep reverse the existing brow drop. It decelerates the natural aging process and prevents the lowering of the forehead or brow region over time.
You can go back to your everyday pursuits after your treatment is complete. Avoid rubbing or massaging the treatment area after receiving injections to prevent the spreading of neurotoxin from the brow area. If you want the treatment results to last longer, you will need to follow-up maintenance treatments.
Anyone bothered by moderate to severe signs of aging in the brow region is considered ideal for the treatment. The brow lift is suitable for people with sagging skin around the eyes. In addition, it can be used to achieve the “cat eye” or the “fox eye” look. But, if you are expecting or breastfeeding, you may not be a good candidate for the procedure. This is because the active agent of Botox and Dysport have not been studied in these groups or may threaten the unborn fetuses or the babies.
Though Botox and Dysport are safe for most people, the mild side effects may include swelling, bruising, and redness at the injection site. These after-effects resolve within 24 hours. Very few people experience numbness, soreness, or headaches that are not even something to worry about. However, if you notice changes in speech, droopy eyelids, difficult breathing, or difficulty swallowing or eating, then consult your health care provider immediately.
The brow lift treatment does not hurt and does not require numbing cream. However, physicians may offer an ice pack after the procedure to reduce discomfort quickly.
