BTT – How To Create A Perfect Makeup Routine
Beauty has so many possibilities as to what you can use, do, and how you can apply it to your own personal appearance. It is rare to find somebody that will appear just like you, so why not take advantage of that, and create a beauty regimen that works for you and only you? This article can help you.
An eyelash curler is a super investment. People tend to forget how amazing this product makes their eyelashes look. Eyelash curling makes your eyes look bigger and brighter. Heated eyelash curlers can make your eyelashes stay curled longer.
If the idea of applying strips of false lashes gives you cold feet, consider single lashes instead. These are considerably easier to apply and require only a small amount of eyelash glue, compared with the amount used for full lashes. Individual lashes, when placed in the outer corner of the eyes, produce a far more natural effect.
Exfoliation is excellent for your face! Dry or sensitive skin should be exfoliated at least three times a week to adequately scrub away dead skin and let the skin that is beneath it breathe. This will give your face a fresh, radiant glow and will prevent your pores from becoming blocked by oils and dead skin cells.
Make sure your foundation matches. Before buying a new foundation, you should test it on the inside of your wrist. This skin is comparable to the skin on your face and will give you a good example of what this makeup will look like on your face and how it feels.
To determine whether you have cool or warm skin tones, check out the veins on the inside of your wrist. If you have cool skin, the veins will appear bluish in color. If you have warm skin, they will have a greenish tint instead. Cool skin tones look best in cool colors, such as blue and purple, whereas warm skin tones, look best in warm colors like red, yellow and orange.
Use cream cleansers, especially on your face. Soap can dry your skin and lead to skin that appears weathered and older. Keep your skin beautiful by using cleansers that are more like lotion and cream and less like harsh cleaner. Your skin will thank you for the change in beauty supplies.
Always remove your makeup before you go to bed. After a long, stressful day, it can be tempting to just slip into bed without taking the time to remove your makeup. However, sleeping with your makeup on can cause numerous problems including acne, blackheads and dry skin. By taking just a few minutes before bed to remove your makeup, you can keep your skin clear, healthy and moisturized.
Make sure that your blush and your lip color are in harmony. If you are using blush, it is important to make sure that it matches the color you are using for your lips. Pink should be with pink, red with red, etc. If the colors vary too greatly from one another, they will clash terribly.
Plain old toilet paper can be quite useful if you have a glow from doing your best moves dancing at the club! You may be surprised at how well the toilet paper’s coarseness can blot your oily skin! All you have to do is blot your face with a square of the TP, and you will lose that shine before you can blink your eyes!
If your skin looks like it could use a wake-up, try this idea. Use a hot, damp washcloth (with a few drops of your favorite essential oil on it, or plain is fine too) and press it gently against your face for a minute. Finish with a splash of very cold water. The heat will improve your facial circulation and open your pores, while the cold water will tighten your skin and wake you up generally.
You are very good at applying your makeup and washing it off at the end of the day. Are you as diligent when cleaning your makeup brushes? Chances are, you are not. It is advised to wash your makeup brushes at least once a month using a gentle soap such as baby shampoo. Lather them up gently, rinse, and let them air dry.
If you have grey hair dyed dark, and your roots are beginning to show, try putting the same color mascara as your dyed hair. If your hair is dyed a lighter color such as blond, spray some hairspray on the roots and use a bit of bronze or gold-colored eyeshadow. Or, you can try one of the root color-combs available at local beauty supply stores.
Isn’t creating your own personal beauty regimen a lot of fun? As you have seen in this article, there are a lot of ways this can be done and no two techniques or products will yield the same results. There are also lots of customizable options that can work with your skill set and budget.
